An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced accounts assistant to join the Finance Department at DBL Logistics.

25 hours per week Mon-Fri
Hours: 9:30am - 2:30pm - but can be flexible to accommodate.

**Salary**: £14,872.00

**Duties will include**
- Processing supplier invoices
- Matching invoices with the correct purchase orders
- Statement reconciliations
- Monthly payment runs
- Investigating and resolving discrepancies
- Responding to queries
- Bank input
- Input of new customer and supplier accounts
- Responsible for incoming and outgoing post
- Answering phones
- Assisting the finance manager with any other duties required
- Experience in accounting and bookkeeping 2-3 years minimum
- AAT Qualified or mid-study desirable
- Competent with IT systems, and good knowledge and experience of Sage and Excel essential
- High level of attention to detail
- Confident working to deadlines, with ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to build excellent working relationships with both suppliers and colleagues
- Flexibility in their role - comfortable to cover other roles when needed such as sales ledger

**Holidays**;
- Initial holiday entitlement is 28 days holiday per year inclusive of 8 public bank holidays
- You will then receive 1 additional day per year completed in full (Jan-Dec) to a maximum of 5 additional days

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £14,872.00 per year

Expected hours: 25 per week
