Supply Chain Best Practice Risk and Reslience

My client is seeking a Best Practice, Risk & Resilience Manager to join their Supply Chain team that has recently been recertified by CIPS to Platinum level on their Procurement Excellence Programme.
As the successful applicant, you will be responsible for their continuous improvement programme and ensuring that they strive to bring industry best practice into the organisation, with an initial focus on establishing and implementing our supply chain socialvalue framework model.
You will also be responsible for identifying and managing emerging risks within our supply chain as well as ensuring existing risks are managed with appropriate control measures.
Resilience is a key attribute of our organisation, and you will work with category managers and suppliers to ensure that our end-to-end supply chain is resilient to any potential disruption.
**Principal Accountabilities**:
Build and develop strong, collaborative internal and external relationships at all levels, to provide support and guidance, champion supply chain risk management and best practice and optimise the clients end to end supply chain risk and process performance
Develop and maintain an effective external network to identify relevant supply chain best practice, dedicatedly using it to enhance the Supply Chains own governance, processes and tools
Own the clients end to end supply chain risk framework and associated governance, process and tools to reduce overall supply chain vulnerability
Work closely with Supply Chain and other internal teams to ensure that key internal controls are identified, embedded and maintained
Run the coordination of end-to-end supply chain risk and audit activity (including the use of external auditors) across both client and supplier organisations
Lead or actively support general supply chain projects and initiatives as required.
**Qualifications & Skills**:
- A Supply Chain & Procurement professional with extensive experience in supply chain processes and risk management.
- Qualified to Degree/MBA level with membership of a meaningful professional body (e.g. CIPS).
- Strong leadership, communication and senior partner management skills.
- Excellent planning and organisational skills, including project management.
- Confirmed knowledge and skill in:
- Supply chain risk frameworks, tools, interventions and reporting.
- Implementing best practice and social value frameworks
- Leading cross-functional teams and projects.
- Delivery of process re-engineering and performance improvement.
- Regulated business requirements.
