As Commercial Data & Insights Lead, you’ll support the Marketing Director in planning and analysing our marketing efforts performance. You’ll also be exposed to various business stakeholders (Commercial, Operations), supporting their analysis needs for aviation and wider market opportunities.
You will play a critical role in delivering insight-led strategies, that drive measurable customer value, turning them into actionable marketing plans and business cases. You will demonstrate results to drive Commercial team objectives and help grow, retain, and attract passengers, airlines, and commercial partners through insight and innovation.
Data-hungry and a master of spreadsheets, you will unearth key customer insights from LCY and industry research to drive the direction of the Commercial agenda and help develop an integrated plan for the team.
You will breathe life into data concepts and ideas through the use of presentations and data tools such as Data Studio and Power BI.
As primary owner of the airport’s CAA data and industry insights and data platforms, you will identify growth opportunities and influence marketing strategy, increasing passenger numbers and revenue for the airport. You will also drive thought leadership to improve customer satisfaction through data.
Airline account management is key to success in this demanding role, as is accountability for co-ordination of performance reporting of all team marketing activity. A keen eye for detail is critical.
- Brand awareness tracking and monitoring
- Construct and deliver monthly Marketing reports to highlight team performance and demonstrate success
- Deliver ad-hoc post campaign analysis as needed
- Support Marketing Director with budget: tracking of Insights spends and processing of all POs and monthly accruals
- Master Marketing, Aviation, Commercial and Media insights to deliver timely responses to business cases/tenders/presentations
- Define segmentation strategy from existing and potential passengers profiles and behaviours
- Interrogate data to deliver all required metrics including NPS score, for monthly business-wide communication and action
- Owns and manages 3rd party platforms for Marketing & Aviation insights
- Exprience within Data and Insights
- Airline or travel industry experience preferred
- Demonstrable experience of creatively bringing data concepts and ideas to life using Presentations and data visualisation tools such as Looker Studio
- End to end quantitative and qualitative research management.
- Advanced MS Excel and analytical techniques
- Prior experience of campaign reporting tools including Google Analytics, Looker Studio, Hootsuite, Dot Digital, QlikSense or similar
