**Stockport Academy is an oversubscribed secondary school in Greater Manchester that has been recently recognised as Secondary School of the Year at the MEN Schools Awards.**

**It is a diverse, tolerant and welcoming community, where Ofsted inspector describe standards as ‘high’ and where ‘relationships between pupils and teachers are typically strong and pupils trust teachers to help them improve their work’. Inspectors noted that ‘staff are proud to be part of the school community’.**

Student behaviour is described as impeccable, in an environment where they treat each other and staff with real respect, have a genuine enjoyment of school and enjoy their learning. The Academy is on the road to outstanding and has a relentless drive and determination to ensure the best possible education for students in our care.

We are looking to recruit outstanding practitioners who are innovative as we expand the team to inspire students aged 11 - 16 to achieve their full potential and continue their enjoyment of school.
