Overview / Responsibilities:
Wood is currently recruiting for a Senior Structural Designer for a Staff Role to join our locally based Repair Order team. In the main, Hybrid working with occasional visits offshore and into Clients office.
- The Structural Repair Order team, are responsible for taking the MCDRs raised by the platform inspectors and developing engineered repairs as necessary. This is all brownfield work, and small local repairs only to maintain platform integrity i.e. no large, greenfield modules
- Interpret MCDR and decide on the level of repair required ultimate repair is usually decided in consultation with colleagues
- Create 2d Autocad drawings of repair
- Check colleagues drawings
- Create/check material requisitions
- Create/check work pack for offshore construction
- File and Issue deliverables
- Close work packs when job is complete

Skills / Qualifications:
2D Autocad experience
