Our role as an auditor is to act independently to support trust and integrity in the business. We provide a wide range of public sector bodies across local government, NHS, police, fire and national parks. We audit over 300 public sector bodies includingsome of the largest councils and NHS bodies in the country. We pride ourselves on the high-level standards and quality we expect from our people.
**Skills we’re looking for**
- You’ll have NHS Local Counter Fraud specialist qualification or be Local Authority Trained Fraud Specialist.
- You’ll be CIPFA Accredited Counter Fraud Specialist.
- 10+ years of cases fraud investigation experience in the public and private sectors.
- You'll have experience of delivering Interviews Under Caution (IUC) and preparing cases for submission to the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS).
- You’ll have managed a fraud case portfolio from simple to complex frauds.
- Experience of data mining / pattern analysis in big data fraud reviews.
- It would be highly advantageous to have prior experience of working with a case management system.
- You’ll have experience of Delivery of Detection focused fraud projects.
- You’ll be delivery focused, confident in meeting set delivery KPIs and require minimum senior staff support.
- You’ll have excellent written and verbal communication and reporting skills and be MS Office proficient.

- **Opportunity**: Once you join the Agile Talent Community, you’ll be working with Grant Thornton’s Counter Fraud team on a varied portfolio of NHS and private sector clients on an initial 3 months contract with a potential extension. This roledoes require local on-site presence (London, Norfolk, Midlands or Manchester based) therefore you’ll need to be comfortable with hybrid working model.

From helping you navigate incoming regulation for freelancers to providing dedicatedpoints of contact and offering training, we will always be there to support, advise and help you develop.
- **Independence**: A project focus lets you take on work as and when you want. The projects themselves will generally be full time, but this control allows you to create room around them for other priorities. We know you will need scope to pursueother interests whether personal or professional. The Agile Talent Community provides you that space without restriction.

The interview process will begin with a pre-screening discussion with one of our recruiters where we’ll want to learn more about your skills, motivations, interests and preferred way of working. If there’s interest to continue, we’ll invite you to an interviewwith some of our key business leads that you may eventually work with. For some areas, there may be an additional requirement for a case or technical assessment as part of the interview process. If successful, the final step will be to complete the contractingprocess and background checks.
