**Role: Construction Manager**

**Location: Nationwide, Field Based Role**

**Salary: Circa £70K, negotiable on experience, plus excellent bonus structure and £8k Car Allowance**

Our client is a main contractor within the Interior fit out sector who have, over 20 years, built up an excellent reputation and client base.

Due to exciting growth plans, they are looking to bring in a Construction Manager who will be field/home based with 1 day per week or 2 days per fortnight based in their offices in the Southwest.

They work across several sectors, producing high quality outcomes for Retail, Commercial & Finance, Public & Government, Leisure & Hospitality.Their teams work throughout the UK to provide refurbishments and fit outs in offices, shops, attractions, andrestaurants.

**Key Task and Responsibilities**:

- Work in partnership with Divisional Leads and Project Managers to ensure high quality and innovative construction practice.
- Build relationships, engage and coach key stakeholders regarding process, procedure and efficient methodology.
- Build an internal team of employed Site Managers in alignment with business need. On-board, coach and motivate the Site Management team through regular performance review.
- Manage the requirement and allocation of Site Managers against relative projects.
- Work alongside the Commercial Team and the Operations Team to develop the business contractor base and supply chain relative to pipeline of work and skills gap analysis.
- Will have a solid work history within Interior fit out within both main and subcontractor companies
- Have previous experience within Project, Contract or Construction management
- Have built up a black book of contacts within the Fit-out industry
- Be ambitious and love a challenge
- Hold the following qualifications, SMSTS, First Aid at Work, UKATA Asbestos Qualification and a Valid UK Driving Licence
