Job Overview:
Smile Education Recruitment work with a number of secondary schools across the South Yorkshire region and we are currently seeking a Graduate Teaching Assistant to join our team and assist with various educational and administrative tasks. This position offers an opportunity for graduate students to gain hands-on experience in a supportive and collaborative environment.

**Duties**:

- Assist in educating young people within a secondary school in Sheffield, with exposure to working with people who have additional needs.
- Support teachers and staff in implementing individualised education plans (IEPs) for students with autism and other developmental disabilities
- Collaborate with colleagues to create and implement engaging lesson plans and activities
- Provide one-on-one support to students who require additional assistance
- Assist with behaviour management strategies and techniques
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized learning environment

**Experience**:

- Previous experience working with young people is preferred however this is not essential
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues
- Knowledge of special education practices and strategies is a plus
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment

Pay: £85.00-£95.00 per day
