**Job Summary**
**Responsibilities**
- Operate vehicles for the safe transport of goods, including flatbed lorries.
- Load and unload items from vehicles, ensuring proper handling techniques are used.
- Assist in the packing and unpacking of items as needed during removals.
- Maintain clear communication with clients regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.
- Conduct routine checks on vehicles to ensure they are in good working order, demonstrating mechanical knowledge as required.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while on the job.
**Qualifications**
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred.
- Valid driving licence with a clean driving record; experience with commercial driving is advantageous.
- Familiarity with flatbed vehicles is a plus.
- Previous warehouse experience is desirable, showcasing an understanding of logistics operations.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
- Mechanical knowledge to assist in vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting as necessary.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Temporary
Contract length: 7 months
Pay: From £100.00 per day
