An exciting opportunity has come up to lead the strategy & development of a major new Data Transformation project at one of the UK's leading brands. This Data Transformation project will see the legacy data systems replaced by a brand-new AWS - Snowflakesystem, and the roll-out of new technology across the board.

**THE COMPANY**:
This client is a major name in the transportation and tourism industries, with a group of brands enjoyed by tens of millions of customers every year. They have an extensive, but outdated, Analytics set-up that they are aiming to transform to an effective,modern system based on AWS-Snowflake.

**THE ROLE**:
As one of a handful of people occupying the newly created leadership roles on this project, you will be responsible for brainstorming and strategising the direction of this new platform, establishing ideas of surrounding the tech that will be used, and workingwith the business to understand what this new platform will need to provide.

In specific, as Interim Head of Enterprise Data you can expect to be involved in the following:

- Working closely with key stakeholders to understand what is in place & what business questions need to be answered by the data team, challenging them where necessary
- Driving the deliverables within the Data Transformation project acting as Programme Manager
- Lead the transformation from on-cloud to the new AWS-Snowflake platform
- Implementing & establishing the new platform, strategy & systems

**YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE**:
The successful Interim Head of Enterprise Data will have the following skills and experience:

- Experience leading Cloud Data Migrations, ideally to AWS-Snowflake
- Programme Management expertise, driving deliverables, building relationships with and challenging very senior stakeholders
- An understanding of Enterprise Architecture and Data Strategy for complex businesses

**THE BENEFITS**:
The successful Interim Head of Enterprise Data will receive between £600-900 per day for the initial 6 month period.
