Night Packer

**Position Summary**:
The night packer will assist the Head Baker in all baking, cleaning and packing duties as and when required.

**Essential Functions**:
Without restricting the generality of the general description above, the Bakery Assistant shall perform such duties and responsibilities as may be assigned including but not restricted to the following:

- To wear any uniform provided, ensuring it is kept clean and presentable at all times;
- To ensure that your work station is kept clean and hygienic at all times and is maintained in tidy and organised manner;
- Performs day to day cleaning of preparation areas and equipment
- To participate in the daily and weekly deep clean of the bakery, completing the relevant paperwork as required;
- Assists bakers in baking duties as assigned
- Packing of Bread and other bakery produce as instructed
- To clear away any spills and/or breakages immediately, in accordance with company procedures, ensuring that any signs, for example a wet floor sign, are displayed promptly and prominently to ensure the safety of others;
- To use all equipment and machinery in the correct manner, in compliance with both company procedure and safe systems of work, and any manufacturer’s instructions. To report immediately to a member of the management team any faulty or damaged equipment and/or any potential hazards.

The night baker shift will be 5pm - 12:45am 5 days a week, including a Sunday, with one day off during the week.

**Salary**: £9.50-£10.00 per hour
