**Team Overview**
The Savills Corporates, Commercial and Education Planning Team is based in Savills Margaret Street office in London and has 3 Directors, 2 Associate Directors, 1 Associate, 3 Senior Planners, 1 Planner and 4 Graduates. The Team forms part of the NationalPlanning Division who operate throughout the UK. Savills Planning has been identified by the Planner Magazine as the largest planning consultancy business in the UK for the last 7 years.
Projects will principally be in London, the South East and East area however the Commercial Corporates and Education Team also operates further afield in the UK.
**Role Overview**
The team has a strong pipeline of projects for a wide variety of clients - including BAE Systems, Cherwell, Eton College, Hutchison Ports, St Modwen, The Oxford Science Park, Aequitas and BlackRock. Savills is the largest planning consultancy in the countryand is committed to further expansion of its successful London Planning team.
- an enjoyment of writing, with excellent language skills and a love of communicating planning arguments;
- a proven ability to multi-task across many projects, helping to steer the team’s workload, managing projects capably; and
- a willingness and enthusiasm for mentoring and guiding junior planning and graduate level colleagues.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Manage own workload under the supervision of the Directors/Associate Directors and undertake planning research and enquiries;
- Monitor and review development plans and prepare representations to address issues with practical implications on our clients’ properties;
**Key Skills**
- RTPI or RICS accredited with strong verbal, numerical and report writing skills
- Able to prioritise and work to deadlines whilst managing a significant workload
- Clear ability to communicate effectively
- A team player, whilst being self-motivated and proactive
- Have the potential to deal with instructions and clients (with support).
