**Vacancy description**

As a Teaching Assistant, you will support teachers and help children with their educational and social development, both inside and outside the classroom. Your role will be vital in ensuring that all students feel supported, engaged, and encouraged to reach their full potential.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Working full-time within a secondary school setting as a Teaching Assistant
- Supporting pupils with numeracy, literacy, and ICT skills
- Assisting children who need extra support to complete tasks
- Contributing to classroom displays and preparation of learning resources
- Working alongside teachers to support delivery of lessons
- Supporting children both in and out of the classroom
- Upholding the school’s safeguarding and behaviour policies
- Working with students aged 11 to 16 in a professional and respectful manner

- A genuine eagerness to learn more about the role of a Teaching Assistant
- A strong passion for working with children and supporting their development
- Key personal qualities, including patience, empathy, and effective communication
- A professional attitude and the ability to maintain high standards at all times
