You’ll be part of Bruntwood SciTech, a 50:50 joint venture with Legal & General; Bruntwood Scitech, owns and manages the largest portfolio of science and technology campuses in the UK with 10 campuses across Manchester, Leeds, Liverpool, Cheshire, Birmingham, and Cambridge, including prestigious locations like Manchester Science Park, Alderley Park and Innovation Birmingham.
**Job purpose**:
We have ambitious plans and are going through an exciting period of change, improving our ways of working and making sure our customers are at the centre of everything we do and we have an opportunity for a Supplier Administrator to help us with this change.
The Supplier Relationship Team is part of Bruntwood’s Property Management team. The team has a number of activities that they complete for the business, including the management of our external supplier partners and ensuring that the relationship with those suppliers is strong
If you have the ability to build strong relationships with supply partners, colleagues and have a strong customer focus this role is for you.
**What will you be doing**:
- Work closely with the Supplier Relationship Team and take a key role in ensuring a more efficient process is adopted and implemented.
- To work on your own initiative as well as support colleagues within the Supplier Relationship team as and when required.
- Supporting the property surveyors across the portfolio, developing and updating the systems to easily identify any service charge queries.
- Supporting the Supplier relationship team to obtain and manage service charge costs throughout the full financial year / length of supplier contract.
- Liaison with both internal and external suppliers with scheduled contract PPM’s ensuring all stakeholders and building teams are well informed.
- Through your strong relationships with the building teams and customer experience, gain feedback and insight to measure customer satisfaction from key suppliers.
- Be the go to person for all supplier invoice queries developing relationships with suppliers and the Bruntwood finance and supplier team and improve processes as required.
- Cover fleet activity for any holidays and absence within the department
- Administrating, recording, documenting, and updating of any Purchase Orders for any contract variations arising.
- Raising of all contractual Purchase orders for suppliers for each quarter / year.
- Ensure all Purchase Orders raised are coded correctly
- Deal with Ad Hoc Purchase Orders as required.
- Supporting the team with the transitioning, mobilisation or disposals of any properties.
**What we’re looking for**:
- The ability to manage a large list of suppliers.
- Experience of working closely with other departments.
- Diligence, ensuring our suppliers operate to our standards and that all the right certification is adhered to.
- Experience of using Excel to manage data.
- Ability to use multiple systems like: Google Drive, Salesforce and Financial Force - all of these are not essential for the role, just the willingness/ability to learn.
- Working closely with the finance team/accounts payable, any finance experience is advantageous, but not essential.
