- You will be in charge of ensuring that services are safe, legal, and of the highest calibre, as well as the quality and compliance of those services.
**Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following**:
- Develop and oversee control systems to ensure legal guidelines and internal policies are followed and adhered to.
- Revise procedures, reports etc. periodically to identify potential risks of non-conformity issues.
- Documenting confidential investigations of breaches of policy, and other cases of non-compliance.
- Carry out complex healthcare audits, such as quality measures, patient feedback, complications.
- Managing systems to track and analyse incidents, risks, complaints.
- Prepare reports for company Directors.
- Conducting reviews of compliance work following established compliance plan(s), appropriate standards and policies.
- Remain abreast of current legislation and enforcement issues affecting the organisation in addition to compliance best practices.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Effectively liaise, support and assist staff, teams and departments in meeting organisations objectives and quality service.
- Responsible for line managing one member of staff
- Supported by an independent compliance officer and senior management team
- Organised and able to manage a busy work schedule
- Be able to prioritise effectively
- Personable with excellent communication skills to be able to build and maintain good working relationships with colleagues
- Experienced working within a healthcare clinical governance/compliance role
- Understanding of handing incidents and complaints, including dealing with sensitive situations
- Understanding of CQC inspection criteria and good practice
- Competent in IT, including with Microsoft Office
