**Assistant Customer Service Manager**with excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills and previous experience in a similar customer service role, managing a team is required for a well-established company based in Prestwich,Greater Manchester, North West England.
**SALARY**:£25,000 per annum +Benefits
**LOCATION**:Prestwich, Greater Manchester, North West England
**JOB TYPE**:Full-Time, Permanent
**WORKING HOURS**:39 hours per week. 8.00 - 16.30 Monday to Thursday & 8.00 - 15.30 Fridays working occasional weekends to cover staffing where necessary
**JOB OVERVIEW**
We have a fantastic new job opportunity for an Assistant Customer Service Manager with excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills and previous experience in a similar customer service role, managing a team.
Working as an Assistant Customer Service Manager you will be required to oversee and manage the company’s customer services team.
As an Assistant Customer Service Manager you will assist in monitoring and maintaining quality standards across the organisation providing an outstanding service to all customers.

**DUTIES**
Your duties as an Assistant Customer Service Manager will include:
- To assist in the recruitment of customer service staff
- To manage inductions, staff appraisals, supervisions and absence management in accordance with company procedures
- Holiday cover management
- Responsible for monitoring/training/mentoring new and existing staff
- To be familiar with the operation of the switchboard and manage telephone management (installations etc) as and when required
- Ownership of the submission of daily/nightly reports
- Supervise the sorting/distribution of post to Managers, Residents, departments, and the signing and recording of all registered mail and packages
- To ensure procedures are followed regarding financial transactions and communicated to the relevant manager when any deposits have been made into the night safe
- Assist/investigate any alleged thefts on site including suspicious packages/behaviours etc
- To complete/delegate ad-hoc administrative tasks/duties as deemed necessary by Director of Operations/Operations/HS Manager
- To conduct investigatory and disciplinary hearings as required with the support of
- the Human Resources department
- To arrange & conduct staff meetings at least 6 times a year
- Monitor calendars and room booking
- Co-ordinate/check in LFTs
- Monitor Fire Alarm System and report changes
- Assist in Lift releases
- Manage the temperature and booking in machines
- Oversee and coordinate the security of the building. To maintain a high level of security at all times
- To oversee and coordinate and third party security that come onto Site
- Manage the CCTV across site
**CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS**
- Experience working in a similar Customer Service environment
- Experience in management
- Experience of admin work
- Experience of using Microsoft Word packages
- Ability to manage staff
- Excellent interpersonal and active listening skills
- Clear communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work well in a team
- Multitasking skills and good organisational abilities
- In-depth knowledge of customer relationship management
- Good IT skills (Word, Excel etc)
- Ability to work calmly under high-stress situations
- Experience of managing a team - confident
