Night Receptionist

The View Hotel Folkestone is a boutique style 44 bedroom hotel, perfectly situated on the Leas in Folkestone.

Offering stunning views and fantastic service, we are a family owned and operated hotel, bar and restaurant.

We are looking for a dedicated and personable individual to join our experienced reception team. Must be friendly, hard working and have a passion for great customer service.

**Duties include but are not limited to**:

- Ensure the property is safe and secure at all times. Following security procedures to a high standard.
- To carry out all “End of Day” operations, reporting all revenue from the day shift and collating all information for records.
- Allocate rooms for next day’s check in’s.
- To prepare all necessary documents for guest arrival and departure.
- Carry out all necessary operations when guests arrive and depart (check-in/ check-out)
- Respond to a wide range of guest requests and promote hotel facilities
- Manage invoicing payments and cash operations during the shift
- To take reservations and business enquiries in and out of office hours.
- Dedicated cleaning tasks.
- Ensure that the workplace remains clean and tidy.
- Ensure the safety of people and property in the hotel.

Must be available any day of the week, bank holidays and school holidays.

Working Hours

Night Shift - 11pm to 7am

5 Nights a week (days of the week may vary)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From £12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
