**Job Description**:
As a Warehouse Operative specializing in têxtiles, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse facility. Your primary responsibilities will include:
**Pay:£11.44**

**Shifts ADHOC**

**Days 7am-3.45pm**

**Nights 5.30pm-2.15am (Night shift allowance)**
- Receiving and Storing Textile Goods:

- Receive incoming têxtile shipments, verify contents, and inspect for quality and accuracy.
- Safely and securely store têxtile goods in designated warehouse locations, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage or contamination.
- Order Picking and Packing:

- Pick têxtile products from inventory according to customer orders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Pack têxtile goods securely for shipping, following packaging guidelines and quality standards to prevent damage during transit.
- Inventory Management:

- Maintain accurate records of têxtile inventory levels, including receipts, movements, and stock counts.
- Conduct regular stock checks and audits to ensure inventory accuracy and identify any discrepancies or shortages.
- Quality Control:

- Inspect têxtile products for quality and compliance with specifications, identifying any defects or imperfections.
- Implement quality control procedures to uphold product standards and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Order Fulfillment and Dispatch:

- Prepare têxtile orders for dispatch, including labeling, documentation, and coordination with logistics providers.
- Coordinate with shipping carriers to ensure timely and efficient delivery of têxtile goods to customers.
- Warehouse Maintenance and Organization:

- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the warehouse, including aisles, storage areas, and equipment.
- Organize têxtile inventory in a systematic and efficient manner, optimizing space utilization and accessibility.
- Health and Safety Compliance:

- Adhere to health and safety regulations and guidelines for working in a warehouse environment, including proper handling of têxtiles and use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Report any safety hazards or concerns to management and participate in safety training programs as required.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Previous experience working in a warehouse or logistics environment, preferably in the têxtiles industry.
- Knowledge of têxtile products, fabrics, and materials, including their characteristics and handling requirements.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling and inspecting têxtile goods.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines for order fulfillment.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Basic computer skills for inventory management and order processing.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift and move heavy objects, including têxtile rolls and boxes.
