**Senior C++ Engineer**

**£60,000 - £70,000**

**This role can support Fully Remote Working OR Hybrid working for people Birmingham based.**

ApplauseIT are looking for a Senior C++ Engineer to join an Emmy award winning supplier of content protection solutions to the entertainment and media industry. The company is devoted to leading innovation in global content, channel, and platform securityand work with the globe's biggest pay-TV broadcasters and OTT platforms, as well as the most reputable sports leagues and event organisers.

The successful Senior C++ Engineer will be joining a dedicated Content Identification and Watermarking team. You will work on innovative projects such as automatic content recognition and covert video watermarking technologies in a distributed, real-timeanti-piracy system in use by many major global media companies from satellite / cable broadcasters to sports rights owners and movie studios. You will be responsible for the full development lifecycle and will have the opportunity to research new techniques.

**Ideal skill set of the Senior C++ Engineer**
- Strong commercial development experience using C++
- Excellent mathematical skills, and ability to quickly solve/understand complex algorithms and systems
- Familiarly with any of the following would be beneficial: Unix/Linux systems, Git, Continuous Integration/Delivery, and automated testing best practices.
