**Main duties of the job**:
We are in the process of creating a specialist ARFID pathway and team working with 0 - 18 year olds and their families. We offer an inclusive and supportive team environment and are keen to support your professional development and wellbeing. Our multi-disciplinary team includes Clinical Psychology, Nursing, Dietetic, Psychiatry, CAMHS Practitioner and Paediatric posts, supported by a friendly Admin Team.
As a General Paediatrician you will be making an active contribution to our multi-disciplinary approach to assessment and treatment for young people with ARFID and related eating difficulties. Our interventions are formulation-based and in line with the latest evidence as well as national and international guidance. Our approach involves a combination of mental health, dietetic and medical input, with multi-disciplinary, multi-modal care packages tailored according to individual need.
You will be part of a cutting-edge service at the forefront of developments for people with ARFID and committed to improving care for this patient group. You will have the opportunity to be involved in our training activities alongside delivering evidence-based interventions. We work hard to involve our service users in efforts to shape and improve what we offer.

**Essential criteria**:
- Full registration with the GMC with licence to practice. Name on Specialist Register or within 6 months of CCT date, and is expected to achieve a CCT
- Registered Medical Practitioner
- Entry on the Specialist Register in Paediatrics or be within six months of attaining a Certificate of Completion of Training at the time of interview.
- MRCPCH or equivalent
- MBBS or equivalent
- Registerable medical qualification

- Other higher degree or diploma (e.g., MD)
