We have an exciting opportunity for an** RTCC Operational Supervisor **to join our team in **Birmingham. **As a **RTCC Operational Supervisor** at National Express, you will be responsible for monitoring the quality of service across the National Express bus network on a day to day basis.

**What you’ll do**
- Share and report factual and timely information to internal and external stakeholders on any issues that arise on our network.
- Monitor and take appropriate corrective actions with Drivers by ensuring timetable and route adherence in conjunction with depots.
- Communicate information to Drivers and sites where and when necessary. To monitor other operators in all its forms and producing good quality, factual and detailed reports.
- Obtain details regarding accidents/incident locations via social media, CCTV or internal and external stakeholders and feed this information onto the relevant departments.
- Carrying out reliability checks using internal and external software to assist services to ensure the scheduled timetable is maintained.
- Appropriately update social media channels with timely and factual service disruption information.

**What you'll need...**
- Relevant operational experience in scheduled service environment is desired
- Ability to deal with individuals at all levels of organisations
- Excellent communication and written skills
- Excellent computer literacy to include tablets and other communication devices
- Good knowledge of the west midlands areas
- Knowledge and experience in using VIX Horizon software is desired
