Case Handler

We are recruiting for a new Case Handler to join our team.

UKS Health group are the leading treatment provider to the legal industry, working with customers such as insurance companies, solicitors, and medical agencies.

Our core services include arranging X Rays, MRI and CT scans, Consultations, Surgeries, and both physical and psychological rehabilitation.

You would be joining an established team of Case Handlers with the support of a Team Leader. You will be working as part of a friendly, welcoming, and supportive team.

As a Case Handler, you will manage a case load of patient’s and will be responsible for coordinating and managing their treatment from start to finish.

**Main Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Accurately input all client, patient, and procedure details onto the in-house database
- Sourcing a suitable provider to carry out the required procedure(s)
- To research unfamiliar procedures to establish a suitable provider
- Obtain accurate fees from the provider for the required procedure(s)
- Obtain contact details and fees for any new providers and liaise with the Supplier Services Manager
- Prioritise workload to ensure SLAs are met
- Make regular contact with the provider to obtain appointments and results within the SLA’s and update the clients accordingly
- Produce the necessary paperwork relating to the required procedure and send to the client/provider/patient
- To deal with any issues and/or complaints in accordance with the company non-conformance / complaints process seeking support from the Team Leader as required
- Ensure the chosen provider is resulting in the optimal profit being made for the business utilising the costing information held on the in-house database
- Make enquiries with relevant parties to resolve any purchase invoice queries
- Ensure data protection regulations are followed and report any data breaches in accordance with the company Data Breach Process
- To undertake additional or other duties as necessary to meet the needs of the business

**Experience is desirable, full training will be given on all aspects of the role.**

**We offer a starting salary of £24,645.00, company pension scheme, 20 days holiday + bank holidays (holiday entitlement increases based on length of service). Modern office environment with free parking and good transport links, based in Sale, Manchester.**

**Please note this role is office based. Current shift patterns are Mon-Fri 8am-3.30pm & 9am-4.30pm.**

**Desirable Skills**:

- Previous experience of managing a case workload
- Basic understanding of clinical/medical terminology
- Basic understanding of data protection principles/regulations
