**We’re looking for a qualified Early Years Practitioner to join our dedicated team. Working in an established nursery, based in a homely and spacious Victorian setting divided into three age appropriate areas for children transition through.**

**We have are fortunate to have lovely outdoor environments, including forest school, growing areas. large space play area and busy under canopy activity zones.**

**We’re recruiting after our third Ofsted Outstanding rating to meet the demands for good quality childcare for all. We are full and have a waiting list, demand is high in our area.**

**We’re passionate about both indoor and outdoor play and building the best life foundations for every child. We work in partnership with families to ensure a safe and happy environment for everyone.**

**We care for babies to pre-school, for children attending 15hrs to full time. Local families and many who travel. We enjoy a good reputation in the area and have many returning families.**

**Responsibilities**:
Enhanced DBS is required, mandatory first aid and safeguarding training are provided.
- Working with colleagues in small family groups, caring for young children, developing activities and environments that are stimulating and effective.
- Evaluate, motivate, plan and assess for children's development through experiences and activities, lots of outdoor play and the freedom for staff to be creative and spontaneous.
- Supporting all children with varying need and cultures in their daily routine for their care, health and well[being.
- Providing a safe and secure environment where children are happy and develop to their full potential in a homely environment, making good relationships with their young friends and staff.
- Helping to keep our beautiful setting clean, tidy and helping with prep of light snacks.
- Creating interesting events, environments and providing new and innovative resources.
- Working in partnership with families and support agencies.
- Attending team meetings, using technology, keeping records, writing reports and communication.
- Enjoying be part of an established nursery, with a great team with the vision to keep moving froward and respecting everyone's contribution.

**Salary**: From £22,000.00 per year
