We have a new opportunity for an Assistant Credit Controller to join our Finance Team.

**Assistant Credit Controller - The Role**:
To ensure the Sales Ledger and Credit Control team are supported with admin tasks. To ensure invoices and statements are sent out to our customers on time. To improve aged debtors balance and number of overdue accounts.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Liaise with our customer services team for on stop customer - reporting back to the credit controllers.
- Audit contact information within our ERP System and ensure contact details are always up to date.
- Add customers to our electronic document sending function.
- Raise Invoices and Credit Notes and support the team with reporting requirements.
- Contact customers to obtain credit/debit card payments and set up direct debits.
- Undertake specific debt chase tasks passed by the team with a view to building own debt ledger.

**Assistant Credit Controller - Knowledge, Training, Experience, Technical and Personal Skills**:

- Previous experience in customer service or finance assistant role advantageous.
- Able and willing to work remotely.
- Excellent written, numerical, and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to handle large amounts of information.
- Problem solving and solution-focused ability.
- Well organised and self-disciplined with the ability to work quickly and calmly under pressure.
- Ability to meet strict deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop effective and positive working relationships within and outside of the department.
- Ability to be assertive when necessary.
- Must demonstrate high levels of integrity and adopt a professional approach in all interactions - should be transparent, open, and honest in all dealings.
- Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing situations and/or systems.
- A flexible attitude to the team’s work, including a willingness to reprioritise and undertake additional tasks if required.
