**Hours: Flexible or 12 hour shifts available**
**Derwent Cottage is a residential service located in the Seamer area of Scarborough. Here we provide care and support to adults with a range of learning disabilities and complex needs.**
In this diverse and varied role, you’ll help people we support to develop their independent living skills and assist with everyday challenges such as personal care, meal preparation, housekeeping, medication and attending health appointments. Crucially, you will enable them to carry out tasks, chores, activities, and hobbies that most people take for granted.
Derwent Cottage is a beautiful Victorian building with large gardens set in rural surroundings. The site is rated “Excellent” by the CQC and has access to modern equipment and resources - it even includes an elevator between floors. The friendly and supportive team are always looking for ways to keep the residents engaged and part of the community, regularly organising fundraising events and team building activities.
