The role requires the Nursery Administrator to assist in the day to day running of the setting. As the Administrator some of the tasks you will be required to carry out are, but not limited to:

- Dealing with enquiries
- Adding new starters to the system. Ensuring children’s files are set up and filed.
- Maintain accurate and up to date records
- Send weekly bulletins/monthly newsletters to new parents.
- Be responsible for placing orders to various companies
- Provide support for the rooms in terms of administration
- printing off the following week’s/months forms, documents and things they need for their room
- Adhere to the weekly rota and ensure tasks are completed in a swiftly, thorough and professional manner
- Updating the nursery online diary and manual diary with appointments for the manager
- Booking staff onto relevant training
- Completing headcount and termly tracking with the nursery manager and director
- Complete minutes of meetings when required
- Preparing for staff meetings with an agenda for staff as per manager’s request
- Maintaining accurate and confidential staff, children’s and parent’s records.
- Recruitment tasks
- Add payments onto the system and ensure children’s accounts are clear, concise and up to date
- Staff wages submit by set deadline and ensure all current staff are on the
- Review setting audits to ensure compliance;
- Administration of the settings social media platforms;
- Assist with the arrangements for events or outings;
- Research and organisation of maintenance contractors;
- Evolution and maintenance of the an on-line filing system;
- Assist the SLT (Senior Leadership Team) in day to day requests.

**RELEVANT EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS**
- Administration experience
- Excellent IT skills (Excel and Word);
- Excellent knowledge and use of social media and other IT platforms
- Excellent verbal and communication skills
- Excellent customer relations skills
- People management experience

**Education**:

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

**Experience**:

**Language**:

- English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
