We are currently recruiting for a Senior Residential Support Worker to join our long established team, motivated to deliver high standards of personalised care in supporting the welfare and development of the children/young people in our care.

This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced individual looking to join a dedicated and supportive team within our company in Stockport.

As a senior member of staff, in a hands-on role, you will have relevant experience in working with children/young people, in a senior role. You will be responsible for supervising and leading a staff team on shifts, ensuring that health and safety standards are maintained and that the Home’s policies and procedures and relevant regulations are followed.

In addition, you will be expected to contribute in care planning, risk assessments, reviews and participate in staff meetings. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, are essential.

Holding a full driving license is desirable. The position requires that all staff members work shifts on a rota basis. Staff members receive a sleep-in allowance of £50 per shift, the opportunity to join the Company pension scheme and receive a private healthcare package on completion of the relevant probation period.

Pay: £13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 - 48 per week

**Education**:

- Diploma of Higher Education (preferred)

**Experience**:

- residential child care: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

- clean driving license (preferred)
- level 3 diploma in the children and young peoples workforce (preferred)
