Working for a rapidly expanding eCommerce company, this is an opportunity to work for a business with great potential.

Working closely with the Technical and Logistics (T&L) Manager you will have responsibility for our diagnostic testing and repairs team.

Current product focus is on small domestic appliances including coffee machines, microwaves, ovens, ice cream makers, among others as well as adult and child scooters.

**Responsibilities and Duties**:
Ensure the maximum financial return is being achieved on all products passing through the testing department, whilst evaluating the return on investment for any improvements.

Develop, enhance and implement improved working practices and processes within the testing department alongside the maintenance of KPI target achievement and recording and working with the T&L Manager identification of process and efficiency improvements to consistently increase the KPI target. Provision of reporting around the KPIs to the T&L Manager for management review.

Supervision of the testing team to ensure high standards are met and there is consistency across the work area through maintenance and enhancement of the relevant process manuals, ensuring that all members of the team are aware of their Health and Safety responsibilities and all training is undertaken including PAT testing and the Identification and fix of training and knowledge gaps with all team members including the usage of Personal Improvement Plans, where appropriate

Undertake one to ones with all team members providing feedback to the T&L manager along with the team members to ensure communication lines are kept open

Adhere to management processes and ensure communication and training is provided down to testing staff including process changes and adequate training.

Participation in the relevant internal meetings and creation of clear operational procedures;

To ensure customer returns are dealt with in a timely and efficient manner on a daily basis

To be the ‘go to’ person for all elements of testing under this umbrella also encompassing administration for the department.

To resource adequately on a weekly basis, ensuring all staff are available to deal with incoming deliveries from various suppliers. Approve holidays and ensure adequate holiday cover and resources on a weekly basis in conjunction with the T&L manager. If necessary provide cover for testing and provide ‘hands on’ support

Communicate daily with the T&L manager to overcome any troubleshooting tasks or process issues, including resource and cover.

Provide a good standard of house keeping, ensuring a clean and organised working environment is maintained along with the required stock levels of supplies and consumables.

Ideally we are interested in someone with previous supervisory experience and a good technical knowledge of electrical and electronic products

**Benefits**:

Monday to Friday, 8 hours between the hours of 08.00 to 17:00. There may be a requirement on an occasional basis to work on a Sunday, where a day off in lieu will be awarded

**Salary**: £22,880.00-£23,920.00 per year
