Brook Street are working with our Belfast client to recruit an Air freight Forwarder
The company specialise in supply chain and intermodal freight transport solutions and its core business services are freight management, warehousing, the transportation of dangerous goods and the repatriation of human remains.
As part of the air freight team you will be responsible for arranging air freight from beginning to close, including: booking acceptance, arranging with airlines, processing customs, creating documentation, follow up and invoicing, whilst providing first class customer service throughout.
Duties
Providing exceptional customer service to clients across Ireland
Liaising with overseas agents to arrange inbound and outbound air freight deliveries
Creating airway bills and managing inbound customs clearance through Irish and UK customs systems
Arranging deliveries and collections throughout Ireland
**Requirements**:
2 years IATA air freight experience
Excellent customer service skills
2 years' experience in Air Freight Forwarding.
Preferable - inbound customs clearance experience (3rd country)
**Benefits**:
Salary dependent on experience - circa 30-35K
Enrolment in company pension scheme
20 days paid holidays per year plus stat. days
