Pertemps Work Based Learning and Skills team are delighted to be working with an award-winning independent training provider that is looking to add a Business and ICT Vocational Skills Tutor to their team in Dudley. Winner of TES apprenticeship programmeof the year 2020, they are proud of their innovative and tailored approach which has a lasting impact on the lives of learners. They provide training via Apprenticeships or via ‘alternative to education’ routes from their centres across the UK.
To be considered for this role you must be able to travel to their centre in Dudley for 3 days per week, with the other 2 being home based.
The package available for the position of Business Administration and ICT Skills Tutor:

- Basic salary of £26,000 - £28,000 per annum
- 25 days holiday plus public holidays and additional days over Christmas

Duties of the Business Administration and ICT Skills Tutor:

- Delivery of Business Administration and ICT content up to Level 2, along with other Vocational Based qualifications.
- Delivery will be split between Face-to-Face Delivery at our Dudley Centre and Online via Microsoft Teams.
- Devising Learner Journeys/Action Plans taking into consideration various learning styles and individual learner needs.
- Developing schemes of work and lesson plans as well as contributing to the on-going creation and development of new and innovative training materials/resources.
- Embedding Functional Skills, Prevent, British Values and Safeguarding throughout delivery and documenting it in lessons plans/SOWs.
- Achieving a minimum of Grade 2 in all internal and external inspections, monitoring visits and observations.
- Achieving a success rate of 95% for accredited qualifications. Attending curriculum working groups where necessary.
- Administrating and completing paperwork associated with programme within required timescales.
Skills, experience and Qualifications required for the position of Business and ICT Skills Tutor:

- Hold a recognised teaching qualification - PTLLS, AET, DTLLS, etc.
- Hold a Business or ICT qualification at a minimum of level 2 or have relevant vocational competence.
- Have experience of delivering Business Skills and ICT qualifications.
- Have a minimum of Level 2 Functional Skills or equivalent in Maths and English.
- Have a minimum or 2 years’ experience of working with learners.
- A full drivers’ licence would be an advantage - you will need to be able to be on site in Dudley 3 days per week.
