**Where does this role fit within Ted's Team?**

Within this busy role you will be responsible for allocating stock to the stores, running weekly reports, working closely with the wider merchandising and buying teams and liaising with the warehouse in regards to stock deliveries.

Working within the retail division of the business as part of a strong team consisting of allocators, assistant merchandisers and a senior merchandising team.

**Main responsibilities**
- Running weekly reports such as the merchandise report and bestsellers
- Analysing, allocating and managing stock levels throughout the week
- Daily communication with stores and the warehouse
- Liasing with buying regarding various issues such as delivery dates and style
- Actioning any price or product code changes on AX and issuing new labels to all store

**The job in more detail.**

**Reports**:

- Running the Monday morning reports - Merchandise report, Bestsellers, Store vs. Plan, intake
- Running an Intake report, first thing every morning to identify what new styles or repeats have come into the warehouse. Allocate the styles as and when required, depending on phases
- Going through the bestsellers report in detail, style by style and noting any issues, good or bad points, stock issues, no sales etc
- Part Week bestsellers run on a Thursday, go through and double check bestselling lines and forecasted cover

**AX**:

- Working proficiently with the company system AX
- Allocate sufficient amounts of stock for all necessary styles (quantities dependant on time of year, any events, sale etc)
- Update Product Price List on AX with prices when required
- Set up and run new styles onto Ideal Replenishment Plans

**Meetings**:

- Bestsellers meeting - merch team - go through each product area and discuss any issues or highlights from the previous week
- Attend Production Meetings on a weekly basis to discuss any amendments to delivery dates and update accordingly on the delivery schedule

**Season and Phases**:

- Set up the allocation plan for the season and update when necessary (when new styles are agreed, quantities change and styles are transferred).
- Set up a phases spreadsheet two weeks before the launch of a new phase and update accordingly, with any delivery discrepancies or phase changes
- Set up an options spreadsheet and update weekly so that it is ready to use in the Monday merch bestsellers - identifying what new styles are going into the store and in what week as well as how much value it will contribute to the business
- Checking what is due in and what is outstanding. Chase up any outstanding styles with Shipping or Production

**Store Communication**:

- Gathering feedback and trading patterns from stores

**Warehouse and Shipping Communication**:

- Daily communication with the warehouse regarding the Pick Schedule, delivery issues and replenishment
- Communication with Shipping regarding priority styles, TBDC booking sheet and delayed or outstanding deliveries

**Personal traits**
- Good organisational and administrative skills
- Good communication skills
- Able to prioritise efficiently and work to deadlines

**Tools of the trade**
- Entry Level - No experience required but some retail knowledge and experience is preferred
- Excel - Intermediate Level
- AX - No experience required - training as and when required
