**Position: Packing Supervisor**

**Reporting to: Production Manager**

**Hours: 46 hours per week / 4 days (Tuesday to Friday)**

**Location: Beechdean, Tattenhall**

**Overview of role**:
The main purpose of the role is to Supervise and lead a team of operators, being responsible for the set up and operation of the packing facility within production.

**Responsibilities**:
**General tasks**:

- Coordinate the activities of Packers that are packing products and manage the shift in that department
- Ensure production / packing targets and quality standards are consistently met
- Completion of paperwork and data entry on time and in detail, to agreed reporting structure
- Leader and mentor to the team
- Assist with labour planning for the department
- Control Breaks and staff rotation in the department

**Food safety, Health & Safety / HR**:
Ensure daily compliance with all Health and Safety, Food safety and GMP requirements
- Report any Health and Safety issues onsite to the Site Manager
- Report any Food safety issues to Head of Production
- Only use machinery as trained and authorised
- Ensure due diligence onsite and operate in a respectful way to all members of staff and visitors

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £12.00-£12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 46 per week
