**JOB TITLE**: Head of Sales
**JOB TYPE**: Permanent Contract, Full time
**MANAGER**: Sales Director
**HOURS**: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:30 pm
**SALARY**: Up to £55,000 depending on experience, £70,000 OTE based on achievement of targets
**LOCATION**: Our offices are located in the centre of Christchurch, next to the high street shops, with Christchurch Quay a 10-minute walk away and only five minutes from the railway station. Please note the company is operating a hybrid working policy.

**WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?**
We are looking for an inspiring team leader, **whom we can help to further their career** by taking on new responsibilities; and helping to shape the sales team of a company looking to launch into its **next phase of growth**. We’re after an experienced sales professional, with a hunger to develop a successful team, to **seize the opportunity to learn and grow** within their role.
You will be an important member of the sales team, supporting the Sales Director and working alongside the Head of Marketing to drive sales growth. **Your work will empower** the sales team and the wider company to achieve our goals and showcase our expertise.

**WHAT DO WE EXPECT FROM YOU?**
- Support the Sales Director in the development and implementation of sales and marketing strategies that align with the company goals and objectives to increase growth both short and medium term
- Drive performance efficiencies to deliver optimum commercial and financial return
- Coach and develop team members and facilitate monthly one to ones, quarterly and annual performance reviews to enable the sales team to reach their individual potential
- Ensure that the department is adequately skilled and motivated to win and maintain business at all levels to support in the strategic growth ambitions
- Lead and develop the sales team culture, create, and oversee departmental objectives
- Responsible for reviewing and improving the overall management of the sales team to ensure that all day-to-day sales processes are followed and undertaken in an efficient manner, maintaining a disciplined approach to the sales department in keeping with our ISO 9001 certification
- Manage and support the sales team in implementing best in class customer journey, maximising every opportunity to capture data, generate insights and maximise sales
- Refine processes from quotation through to delivery and feedback. Integrating and, where appropriate, automating systems within the sales and operations departments
- Accountability for identifying, implementing and ongoing day-to-day management of the CRM system. Ensuring that all customer touch points are robust and efficient, and the system offers valuable insights to assist in sales activities
- Forecast demand for services and constantly update and refine plans, liaising with the technical and operations department to ensure availability
- Produce, maintain, and constantly refine relevant weekly management information reports outlining sales pipeline and partner forecasts and progress against these
- Constantly and pro-actively analyse sales data to gain insights in performance and inform tactical and strategic sales activity
- Conduct other sales management activities e.g. return to work interviews/wellbeing check ins
- Develop and maintain relationships with Partners and channel to deliver increased revenues
- Ensure Partner Business Plans and Partner Sales plans are in place for all strategic Partners
