Citi enables clients to achieve their strategic financial objectives by providing them with cutting-edgeideas, best-in-class products and solutions, and unparalleled access to capital and liquidity. **Role Overview**: **Responsibilities**: - Provide guidance and direction in area of Oracle infrastructure technology specialization to support platforms and sectors - Fully understand, support, and define platform and areas supported to minimize risks and impact to customers, - Review issues and escalations, as well as resolve production problems, ensuring that status and technical matters are reported to management in a timely manner - Utilize skillset to provide support, trouble-shooting and performance-tuning within Oracle DB technical domain - Support the creation and implementation of system improvements that will improve performance and reliability while maintaining controls - Work closely with our App partners for new projects from initiation to production cutover. Identify cost saving opportunities & implement creative DB solutions for clients (collaborate with Infrastructure Delivery team as needed) **Qualifications**: - Significant experience in your area of infrastructure technology specialization, preferably in a comparable technology or financial institutions organization. - You have knowledge and experience of using Data Guard configuration, RAC (Real Application Clusters) - You have good Unix Shell programming skills - You have experience in working with critical IT BAU processes in DBA area - You have strong communication skills with the ability to articulate clearly in high stress situations - You work independently and are self-directed - You are a detail oriented and perseverant individual - You're a self-starter with good problem solving skills, and you continuously look for ways to improve things. - Providing a great experience to the users of your platform is important to you - Your knowledge and experience of Golden Gate will be considered as a plus **Education**: - Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience **What we Offer** As well as a competitive salary and consideration for a yearly discretionary bonus Citi offer;- 23 days paid annual leave - Award winning pension scheme, - Life assurance and - Private medical insurance with Bupa healthcare.
