Milestones Trust is offering a unique and exciting opportunity for you to be a part of new service development in the Sea Mills area of Bristol. We are looking for a team of Support Workers who will support young people with learning disabilities/autism and physical disabilities to settle into their new homes.

Addison Apartments are modern flats, purpose-built for 5 tenants in partnership with Bristol City Council, and have been equipped with smart assistive technology to enable people we support maximise their independence.

As a Support Worker, you will support tenants with all aspects of daily life (such as personal care, medication administration, accessing the community, shopping, house chores, etc.). You will also ensure they can access activities and are supported with all their interests and hobbies. This may include swimming, trips, arts and crafts, going to music and sport events, etc.

You will encourage and enable individuals to make day-to-day choices and major life decisions, signposting where appropriate, and to develop a positive self-image and maintain good health. Developing relationships and maintaining contact with family and friends is also part of the role. We are looking for people who will work well in a team, but are also able to work on their own.

**We offer a variety of shifts (including weekends)**:

- Earlies 07:00-14:00
- Lates 14:00-21:00
- Long days 07:00-21:00
- Waking nights 21:00-07:00
- Have the ability to lead a shift
- Treat people with dignity and respect
- Support people in making their own choices
- Promote people’s independence
- Be compassionate, caring and patient
- Always be willing to take part in activities
- A competent driver is an advantage
