Job title: Paint Sprayer / Paint Technician
Job location: Milton Keynes
Hourly pay rate: £22 Umbrella (plus £74.30 expenses per day)
Shifts: Monday to Friday Days only
Hours per week: 50-60 hours a week
Start date: ASAP

Client Summary:
My astute Rolling Stock Turnkey Solution client have a heritage of major contracts behind them, a track record in restoring railway carriages with turnkey technology. They are currently working on a project restoring class 323 & 165 vehicles which includesupgrading the complete interiors and underframe of the vehicles. The modernisation of these vehicles includes the interior strip out and refit of rolling stock carriages, which relates to all aspects of the vehicle.

Position Summary:
Essential Experience:

- Previous paint finishing experience
- Able to prep and prime
- Be able to refinish
- Be able to select the correct tools for varying jobs
- Be able to work safely in an industrial environment
- Be able to work at height
- Be able to follow written work instructions
Desirable Experience:

- Water based paint experience
- Specific Hydro Topcoat experience would be preferable
- Rail experience
- Ability to mix various different colours and types of paint
- Formal qualifications in paint spraying / vehicle repair
Work Experience:

- Previous experience paint spraying on rolling stock, HGV, PSV, trailers or other large vehicles.
