This highly regarded underwriters are continuing to grow and have an excellent market reputation combined with a class leading benefits package including very generous bonus. As a result of this continued growth they are now looking for an Assistant Underwriterto join a rapidly growing book within an already well-established Property D&F Team.

The role will suit an ambitious individual who is already an Assistant Underwriter that is keen for a new challenge and can hit the ground running.

**Duties**:
Underwriting and pricing of excess of loss business. This will involve checking underwriting submissions, formatting and loading underwriting data onto rating models and running initial pricing calculations; and will also, importantly, include developinga full understanding of all pricing models used by the team

Liaising with brokers and clients in order to further the renewal process or assess new business

Directly negotiating terms and conditions with brokers

Saving and finalising pricing to monitoring systems

Reviewing and agreeing endorsements

Reviewing and agreeing slip terms and conditions

Underwriting administration across the team

Assisting with regulatory reports and ad-hoc reports, as and when required

Liaising with Wordings, Claims and Loss Modelling teams in support of the underwriting process

Liaising with the Operations team about procedures and issues as required
