Junior Marketing Assistant

**About the Role**

As a Junior Marketing Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the marketing team in various aspects of the daily marketing activities. You'll be responsible for assisting to implement marketing campaigns, overseeing job management between departments, community management on social platforms, as well as the handling of day-to-day ad hoc support requirements. You must be detail-oriented, well-spoken with the ability to write well, able to juggle multiple tasks at once, and also be able to effectively manage expectations upward and downward. This position offers an opportunity to learn and grow in the field of marketing.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Marketing Campaign Support: Assisting the marketing and regional teams in the planning, execution, and analysis of marketing campaigns across different channels, such as social media, traditional channels, events and more.

Community Management: Collaborate with the customer support teams to address and respond to customer queries received through various marketing channels, such as public social media platforms.

Job Request Management: Manage job and merchandising requests between regional teams, internal departments and the marketing team, by briefing in accurate and comprehensive requirements for design, copy or other requests.

Administrative Tasks: Handle administrative duties, including merchandise and stock ordering and management, quote and invoice management, and building and maintaining positive supplier relationships.

Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Work closely with other departments and regional teams, such as sales, business development and others to ensure marketing requests are executed in a timeous manner in line with brand guidelines.

We are seeking an organised, passionate, creative and tech savvy Junior Marketing Assistant to join our dynamic and fast-paced marketing team.

You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively manage interdepartmental requests, social media query management and supplier relationship management. You will have demonstrated creative thinking abilities to contribute fresh ideas and innovative approaches to contribute positively to campaign development.

We would love you to be familiar with digital marketing tools and platforms, especially social platforms, and have the ability to learn quickly on new programs.

It is essential that you have strong organisational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in our fast paced team as well as the ability to work collaboratively within a diverse team and adapt to changing priorities.

You must have meticulous attention to detail to ensure accurate execution of marketing materials and campaigns.

And finally but by no means least, you must have a passion for marketing and a willingness to learn and grow in the industry.

Experience-wise we would like you have had previous experience in either internships or working in marketing or a related field. A Degree or Diploma in Marketing-related field advantageous.

Please note this office is home based and you will primarily work from home. However, this role will require regular travel to all our four regions as well as meeting up with the wider marketing team on a monthly basis
