**Job Title: SEN Support Worker**

Masterclass are working with an amazing SEN School in the Worthing area who require at least one support worker. We are committed to providing an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all students, including those with special educational needs (SEN). As an SEN SW, you will play a vital role in helping students with diverse learning needs thrive and reach their full potential.

**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with special educational needs, including those with learning disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, and behavioral challenges.
- Assist classroom teachers in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and accommodations to meet students' unique learning needs.
- Support students with academic tasks, social skills development, and emotional regulation.
- Foster a positive and supportive relationship with students, promoting their self-confidence and independence.
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to monitor student progress and implement appropriate interventions.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate effectively with parents and caregivers.

**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- Previous experience working with individuals with special educational needs is preferred but not required.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with students, colleagues, and families.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with students with SEN.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of students and the school environment.
- Commitment to promoting inclusion, diversity, and equality in education.
