**Finance Analyst (Procurement) (6mth FTC)**

**The Role**

As a Finance Analyst (Procurement), you will join our Corporate Finance team and partner with our procurement team to provide financial analysis to aid business decision making. Reporting to the Procurement Finance Manager, this role is offered on a permanentfull-time basis offering agile working (50:50 office/home) from our Burton-on-Trent office and offers the right individual a fantastic opportunity to use their technical accounting skills in a commercially focused role that will have impact.

**Key Accountabilities**
- Provide analytical support to the trading and purchasing team as well as the wider finance team to aid decision making
- Supporting the purchasing team on preparing business cases for cost mitigation plans
- Periodic analysis and reporting of inflation and cost mitigation which impacts the whole group
- Owning and analysing the forecasting and budgeting of inflation and cost mitigation
- Owning the rebate process for various spend categories. This includes ensuring we are accruing at the correct level for rebates as well as arranging supplier invoicing
- Reviewing and reconciling the balance sheet for various categories to ensure accuracy

**Required Skills and Experience**

To be successful in this role you will have experience accounting experience and will ideally be full or part qualified. You will have strong Excel skills and experience using an accounting system. In addition to your experience, you will demonstrate thefollowing skills:

- An inquisitive mindset with the desire to understand and improve a vital area of our business
- The ability to be concise and communicate financial analysis to non-finance stakeholders
- Excellent prioritisation skills with the ability to deliver to tight deadlines
