Bin Controller

**Job Purpose**:
To manage the refurbishment and repair of all MC and AUK bins. Regular liaison with the Yard Foreman on customer requirements, and subsequent planning to meet these requirements. All work shall be carried out to a high standard with regards to personnel safety and product quality. To undertake housekeeping, and other duties as directed by the Yard Foreman or General Manager.

**Key Responsibilities**:
HSEQ
- Ensure all health, safety and environmental issues connected with TWMA operations are adhered to.
- Observe and act according to TWMA HSEQ policies and procedures.
- Participate in TWMA observation card programs.
- Attend monthly safety meetings with HSEQ personnel.
- Visibly promote and champion TWMA’s stay safe rules.
- Stop any work which puts any member of personnel in danger.
- Report any breaches of the safety management system to the Yard Foreman.
- Report any accidents or incidents to the Yard Foreman and participate in investigation as required.

Bin Refurbishment
- Perform bin inspection prior to/following return to/from client.
- Perform basic bin repairs and maintenance.
- Bin tracking.
- Complete dispatch information.

Waste Handling Duties
- Offload / load skips and containers.
- Interact with weighbridge operator.
- Visually inspect incoming waste.
- Record waste received.
- Work with Yard Operatives on daily yard duties when required, this will include bin tipping and washing activities.

Site Duties - Assist when required
- Ensure all work instructions, process and quality standards are met in line with ISO requirements.
- Operate the forklift.
- Load and backload all offshore containers.
- Undertake housekeeping and other tasks as directed by the Yard Foreman.
- Work effectively in a fast paced environment, adapting to changing workloads and priorities, maintaining high standards.
- Ensuring the quality of work meets the expectations of the business and requirements of the customer.
- Ensure yard is kept in a safe and tidy manner.
- Help identify ways of continually improving the way work is done at site.

Supervision - Cover
- Provide holiday and sickness cover for the Yard Foreman.
- Liaise with site management and convey instructions to yard operators.
- Plan daily work activities.
- Take responsibility for Yard operations area, ensure housekeeping standards do not slip.
- Communicate with site administration to ensure any skip requirements are met.

**Skills and Experience**:
**Qualifications/Training**
- Basic academic qualifications (Essential).
- B2 Forklift Certification (Essential).

**Experience**
- Ability to work well with staff and 3rdparties at all levels (Essential).
- Working within the oil and gas or energy industries (preferred).
- Experience in a similar role (preferred).
- Material handling experience (preferred).

**Knowledge/Skills/Competencies**
- Ability to work to a high standard (Essential).
- Ability to follow operational instructions verbally and in writing (Essential).

**Complying with Procedures**:

- Ensure that all operations comply with the Company and Client operating policies and procedures.
- Ensure that all operations comply with the Company Health and Safety policy.
- Be aware of company conditions of employment as detailed in the Employee Handbook.
- Liaise with the HR Department to assure compliance with current employment law legislation and contract of employment.
