Barista

As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service while preparing and serving a variety of beverages and food items. You will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organised workspace, adhering to food safety standards, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons.

**Duties**
- Prepare and serve hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks.
- Assist with food preparation, ensuring that all items are fresh and presented attractively.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area, including equipment and utensils.
- Adhere to food safety guidelines to ensure the highest standards of hygiene are met.
- Engage with customers in a friendly manner, taking orders accurately and efficiently.
- Handle cash transactions and operate the till with basic maths skills for accurate billing.
- Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods.
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive working environment.

**Skills**
- Strong understanding of food safety practices and procedures.
- Experience in food preparation is advantageous but not essential.
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively during peak hours.

Pay: £8.09-£12.51 per hour
