**Who are we looking for?**

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Business Transformation Lead to lead a team to build a successful new approach CI to Operations, ensuring the activities align to our strategic goals, vision and intentions. You will be working extensively with stakeholders to develop and build a clear Target End State, operating model, purpose and appropriate key performance indicators for our Modernisation Programme; 2.0.

**Who are we looking for?**

Our Business Transformation Lead will lead on senior stakeholder management, influencing process and procedure to develop solutions that meet customer, tech, regulation and strategy needs. Developing a clear operating model to support the strategic direction of the Modernisation programme, you will manage a team of BTM and SME resource to create a clear plan for targeted improvement, ensuring that all solutions are scalable, practical and implemented at pace. You will also:

- Drive and deliver strategic-led change across the business, through effective programme and project management
- Embed strong project management principles and practice across the business, ensuring key milestones are met, risks are identified and the project delivers on service outcomes and savings identified
- Influence and develop organisational capability to support business vision and strategy, benchmarking and measuring progress and learning
- Influence, manage and govern the enterprise change portfolio to provide insights to the appropriate management team, driving interventions and supporting benefits realisation
- Provide leadership representation across all modernisation programmes, identifying synergies and interdependencies between portfolio projects and initiatives, whilst effectively mitigating risks and navigating through interdependencies
- Gather and analyse stakeholder/management information to derive credible insight which soundly informs short, medium and long-term service improvements and cost efficiencies
- Coordinate service design/transformation activity and projects to deliver high quality services
- Provide an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful team delivery
- Establish and maintain strong working relationships at all levels of the business, increasing partner loyalty throughout the course of the programme and thereafter
- Manage, lead, support and coach SMEs within the programme team and business units, obtaining the best value and quality of their specialism, knowledge and expertise
- Lead appropriate portfolio projects, driving key business perspectives of Asset Management business readiness and commercial impact, facilitating a holistic collaborative approach to transformation
- Design, deploy, and embed metrics and management information to drive transformational performance and business decisions and demonstrate impact of planned interventions
- Build relationships and influence management behaviours to adopt holistic thinking and agile work practices to support transformation and change activities
- Actively engage with colleagues across the company to maximise the implementation of successful change.

**Knowledge and Skills Required**

**Essential**:
As our Business Transformation Lead, you will have proven experience of successfully managing change in a fast-paced operational environment, preferably within Operational and Asset Management disciplines. With strong knowledge and experience of business processes and systems linked to planning and scheduling and/or dynamic maintenance, managing project teams to deliver business objectives within defined milestones is key. You will also:

- Have previously led multi-disciplined teams and have experience in leading and managing operational teams within water / wastewater
- Demonstrate strong stakeholder managements skills and be able to manage a wide network effectively, influencing, challenging and managing the expectations of senior level stakeholders where required
- Have strong analytical skills and the ability to turn data into insight and then into actionable ideas
- Show strong leadership skills at all times, with the ability to lead both direct and matrix teams across the business
- Possess excellent communication skills with the ability to engage, influence and inspire, creating collaboration and alignment to deliver change and realise benefit
- Be able to work in fast-paced delivery environment, managing multiple tasks effectively
- Be proactive, self-motivated, organized and take personal accountability
- Feel comfortable working with limited resource and financial constraints in designing and delivering improvements, advocating strong cases for improvement where required, skilfully navigating existing governance requirements and business standards
