**Job description**:
Join us as a Senior Innovation Designer
- In this key role, you’ll provide the service design of sponsored innovation projects, including problem-solving and a high-standard of outputs from initial concept to first market launch
- Day-to-day, you’ll conduct user research to discover customer insights and to inspire new perspectives and ideas, sharing them with the team and other key business areas, such as Group Strategy, Communications, Marketing and with other business stakeholders

**What you’ll do**:
As a Senior Innovation Designer, you’ll be responsible for the development of high priority projects within the Innovation & Partnerships department, working across our brands and with global brand partners to drive the creative vision of brand new and exciting products and services.

You’ll be working on the highest priority innovation projects, including those governed under the Innovation & Partnerships forum, and other franchise forums.

Additionally, you’ll:

- Build and maintain open experience (OX) design capability, including creative visioning, insight development, and the design of innovation projects
- Execute sponsored innovation projects, providing creative direction, problem-solving, and providing a consistent and high level of output
- Run design research, including ethnographic and user research, for actionable customer insights for innovation projects
- Develop tools and processes to encourage human-centred-design in all that we deliver
- Proactively build internal and external relationships, working in partnership to solve future challenges

**The skills you’ll need**:
To be successful in this role, you’ll be qualified to degree level in design, innovation or strategy or have the equivalent in experience. You’ll also have expertise and fluency across Design Thinking, Human Centred Design and Lean methodologies.

We’ll expect you to have a good understanding of innovation processes within large organisations, and experience of developing highly-innovative work and managing multiple projects at once. You’ll also have excellent verbal, written and visual communication skills.

Furthermore, you’ll need:

- Creative problem-solving skills
- The ability to thrive in ambiguity based on customer insights and strategy
- Experience of user research and product discovery and definition
- An understanding of how to collaborate with a diverse set of stakeholders, including customers, colleagues and strategic partners
- Experience in a fast-paced, data-driven environment
