Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Business Administrator. As a Business Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office and providing administrative support to our team.
**Purpose of position**
- To provide support for the operation and administration of Winserve Care Services Ltd
- To maintain skills at a level and undertake such training and development as required to remain up to date with best practices.
- To work in partnership with teams across the organisation.
- To contribute towards the development, maintenance, and improvement of the working environment within the Winserve team.
**Principal responsibilities**
- Perform administration tasks and assist management and other teams with filing and document management.
- Assist with fleet operations/tracking.
- Arrange travel as required by the business.
- Answer incoming calls and make outbound calls on behalf of the business.
- Perform diary management for the office (appointments/meetings).
- Assist with the management of organisational assets including property units, all assets, and petty cash.
- Support the staff team to prepare for internal and external inspections of the home as required by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
- Organising staff accommodation.
- Ensure offices have the required equipment to carry out tasks, including stationary, PPE and uniforms.
- To travel to other Winserve Care Services office locations as required.
- Any other jobs as assigned by the management team.
**Person specification — essential criteria**
The following personal attributes are considered essential to the post of Business Administrator.
The job holder must:
- Hold 1+ years of experience as an administrator or similar role.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Be self-motivated and organised.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Be an active team player but also able to work on their own initiative.
- Be a good communicator.
- Have good record-keeping and tracking techniques.
- Able to follow care planning requirements and instructions.
The role requires staff to work 40 hours per week.
**Person specification — desirable criteria**
- Be flexible in terms of availability, working hours, and adaptability.
- ICT or equivalent qualification.
- Background experience within the care field.
All staff are required to respect the confidentiality of all matters that they might learn in the course of their employment. All staff are expected to respect the requirements under the Data Protection Act 2018 and the General Data Protection Regulation.
All staff must ensure that they are aware of their responsibilities under the Health and Safety at Work, etc Act 1974.
**Required Qualification and Skills.**
- Fluent in English both spoken and written.
- Must hold a valid UK Driving Licence and ideally have access to a car.
Pay: £20,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
