Quality Inspector

Working from our newly refurbished Head Office that houses all of our office, production and stores operations. Working Mon to Fri hours we can offer a flexi time system, salary up to £32k dependant on experience, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, dentaland medical insurance along with free parking on site and a contributory pension scheme too.

The Inspector works as part of the wider Stores department and this is a stand alone role as the gatekeeper for incoming material flagged for quality inspection prior to being despatched internally to our production teams on site. The purpose of this roleis to ensure that non-conforming materials are identified & quarantined for further action in a timely manner. Inspect incoming materials in accordance with the quality systems & procedures Manage quarantine parts Using the MRP system transfer orders intostock once inspection is complete Ensure all stock is handled in a way as to minimise the risk of damage while in inspection area Manage NCR’s to Suppliers liaising with Procurement.

To be successful you should have previous proven stock, good in, assembly or production related experience and be able to demonstrate inspection and quality skills relevant to the manufacturing, engineering and warehouse environments. The role is hands onand so you must be comfortable working in a manual role as part of our wider warehouse and stock operations.
