The Healthcare Contracting Team manages a range of income and expenditure contracts with external providers and commissioners of Healthcare Services.

We are looking for a highly motivated, flexible individual, with strong communication skills, with experience of working with providers of externally commissioned services, preferably within the NHS.
The ability to work in a fast pace and ever changing environment is essential, along with strong interpersonal skills and an ability to work and develop effective relationships with colleagues across a range of professional boundaries, including clinicians and partner organisations is essential.

The postholder will be expected to identify and implement effective contracting arrangements in line with National and Welsh Government Procurement Regulations, through effective multi-disciplinary team working, using a range of negotiation skills and a collaborative approach to contracting. In addition to ensuring effective management of commissioned services through implementation of performance/contract management arrangements.
Key relationships include Health Board Operational Managers and Clinicians, Procurement, partner organisations and externally commissioned providers.
