**LET’S TELL YOU MORE**

In this role, you’ll sit in the Sustainable Abstraction Team, within Water Resources. You’ll be involved in undertaking a complex environmental programme (Water Industry National Environmental Programme - WINEP). You’ll be leading/assisting in the project and stakeholder management, whilst providing hydrogeology/hydroecology/hydrology technical input. As expected, you’ll need to have water resources expertise to be able to lead, support and influence activities in our environmental programme. You’ll be helping to ensure that our abstractions are managed sustainably over the years to come.

You will be expected to build asset and operational knowledge to translate strategy into our business plans.

In this role, you’ll need to build trusting relationships with our environmental and regulators, specialist external consultants and internal stakeholders, providing technical advice to ensure that ground water and surface water resources are managed effectively. We’d also like you to be able to define and deliver process improvements and look for opportunities including new ways of working. You’ll also need to provide water resources input into long term business planning activities, such as Price Reviews and business plans.
