Rosewood Manor is a newly opened, elegant 70 bed home situated in the idyllic market town of Market Harborough, purposefully built for its residents (equipped with its very own gin bar). Providing residential and specialist dementia care, the fabulous team are currently seeking **Night Care Assistants**. Allocated to one floor to ensure the quality of care to residents, your primary focus is to ensure the happiness and independence of the residents in your care.

**Your responsibilities as our Night Care Assistant;**:

- Uphold the exceptional standards and quality of care provided to residents, including personal care, following care plans carefully, etc.
- Liaise with other care professional relating to the needs of the residents
- Always be alert to residents physical and mental well-being, making sure that any change in condition is immediately reported and recorded accordingly
- Encourage, assist and support residents to participate in leisure activities appropriate to their likes and dislikes ensuring all social and emotional needs are met
- Responsible for making and changing beds, tidying residents rooms, undertake light cleaning duties and general housekeeping duties around the home as required
- Helping to serve meals and drinks during meal times and when required, taking care to present these in an appealing way
- Be an active and encouraging member of the care team, contributing to team meetings, induction and training of new staff, engaging and building relationships with residents, etc.

**The Particulars;**
- Full time, permanent contract
- 42 hours per week on a rolling 6 week rota (12 hours shifts, 3 on 3 off)
- Up to £11.45 per hour, depending on experience and training
- Based in Market Harborough, LE16 9BZ, with parking available on site

**What we need you to hold as our new Night Care Assistant;**
- Experience of working within a caring environment
- NVQ L2 in Direct Care
- The ability to communicate well and make others feel welcomed and comfortable
- Supervisory and leadership skills, with a strong ability to motivate and inspire
- Willingness to develop new skills
