Summary In IT Digital at the National Trust, we build and support the systems that people interact with online such as the Online Shop, Holiday booking and the Website. We are a dynamic team who work using Agile and Waterfall methods depending on the change required.While it’s our job to deliver the IT solution, a focus on the customer is at the centre of everything we do, and we are looking for a Project Manager to join the IT Digital Team.

We are open to this role being full time or part time, with a minimum of 4 days per week.

Salary £45,000 pa

What it's like to work here IT Digital is a busy department and technology plays a key part in enabling the Trust to deliver on its strategic objectives. IT Digital manages and supports the systems that allow the us to communicate with our members and supporters. Our vision is to enablethe best possible customer experience when interacting with the National Trust.

Your contractual location will be our head office in Swindon, however there will be an opportunity to explore and agree hybrid working arrangements which strike the right balance for you and the Trust. The role will involve travel to our head office to meetwith stakeholders and to carry out work. Current expectation is to attend the Swindon head office once a week.

What you'll be doing As a Project Manager in IT Digital you’ll both deliver change changes and enhancements, as well as providing operational support to our set of products. The products are owned by Business teams who determine the roadmap which IT Digital support technicallyby:

- Delivering new solutions
- Enhancing existing solutions
- Supporting existing systems e.g. incident management and upgrades

You’ll follow appropriate governance as you lead the Delivery teams to make changes, using internal change frameworks based on industry standard principles. There will be the opportunity to manage projects both using an Agile framework, as well as the moretraditional waterfall delivery method.

Managing Stakeholders successfully is key to this role, and you are likely to be dealing a wide cross section of people from across National Trust.

For this positionwe’re looking for someone who has:

- Experience of successfully delivering complex end to end project/programme management, including defining resources, leading procurementsecuring project teams and matrix management across multiple projects/programmes
- A recognised project (AMP PMQ/Prince) or programme management (MSP) qualification
- Evidence of continuing professional development (CPD) in your career to date
- Excellent problem solving and influencing skills, able to confidently work with senior leaders
- Experience of managing complex and difficult external stakeholder relationships
- Agile working methods
- Use of delivery tools such as JIRA
